Some photos of a tilt tower project

This is how it looks right now. Very heavy in the bottom with no turbine but it works just how good with a turbine i still need to find out. Turbine axel will be 11 meters up.

FROM THE BUILD

Tilt tower for easy testing on wind turbines

There will be a weight in the bottom to balance the load from wind turbine and be just little heavier at the bace to just use a pully for tilting

This is the pivot 65mm steel axel welded on 2 plates and just to get all right i just milled little of the faces

I am lucky to have a great drillingmachine with automatic feed

Drilled 8 holes of 27mm on the frame that will support the load from the tower

Finallly got the weight on 1000*1000*50mm steel plate almost400kg.

So here it is 9meters right now but there will be a pipe to extend the totalhight to perhaps 11meters.
